We usually talk about men’s grooming on the red carpet when it’s in questionable taste. Sacha Baron Cohen’s unruly beard at the Academy Awards was a genius move to promote The Dictator. Ditto for his spreading-of-the-ashes, so he’s off the hook.
Like your fragrance, the hair on your head (and face) shouldn’t be the first thing people notice. So we applaud Jean Dujardin, who looked debonair at the Oscars. He defied the odds by winning Best Actor for his role in The Artist, the first silent film to sweep the awards since 1929. His tux was on-point but what we liked best was his Old Hollywood hair: slick and suave.
“Jean wanted a natural hair look, so I created a very simple style,” said celebrity hair stylist Louise Moon, who got him ready for the big event using Leonor Greyl Haircare products. A little mousse, a touch of gloss and voila: award-winning hair.
Check out this silent short and find out how to get Jean’s look yourself.
